Founding Story
At W&W Grading, our story began with a passion for transforming landscapes. Arnold Wilson, a seasoned golf course builder, spent most of his career crafting picturesque greens and fairways across the southeast. His son, Brian Wilson, shared his love for working with the land and joined him after finishing high school. Together, they worked tirelessly for two years, learning the tricks of the trade.
In 1994, Arnold and Brian decided to branch out on their own and started their own logging business from scratch. Their hard work and dedication paid off, and they built their logging company from the ground up. However, their entrepreneurial spirit didn’t stop there. In 2006, they decided to return to their roots in dirt work and started a grading company on the side of their logging business. They began by grading house sites and driveways for their clients.
Since then, W&W Grading has continued to grow and expand its services. In 2022, Brian’s son, Austin Wilson, joined the company after graduating from Western Carolina with a degree in Construction Management. With a fresh vision and new licenses under his belt, including becoming a licensed NC Highway and Public Utility contractor and a licensed NC Septic Tank installer, Austin’s hiring has not only allowed the company to expand in the residential sector but also has enabled it to venture into the commercial sector.
At W&W Grading, we pride ourselves on our family-owned and operated roots, our commitment to hard work, and our dedication to customer satisfaction. We look forward to working with you and transforming your land into something beautiful.
